Hi, I’m from Ottawa, Ontario.


A retired Communications Technician with the Canadian Armed Forces, I was a Shift Supervisor for 8 years with the Corps of Commissionaires. I have been retired since 2005. I curl out of City View Curling Club in Ottawa where I have chaired the Ice Committee for the last 4 years, am Head Coach for the Special Olympic Program, Instructor for the Little Rock and Teen Program and Junior Representative at the Ontario Curling Association for the Club.

An Ontario Curling Association Curling Official, I average three provincial events a year and during the past three years I have been part of the Canadian Curling Association officiating team for the Deaf Nationals and Head Official for the Wheelchair and Firefighter’s National Championships. I serve also on the Rules and Official Committee for the Ottawa Valley Curling Association’s Junior Superspiel.
As a member of the City View Host Committee, I had the pleasure of curling against the Scots Centenary Tour teams in 2003.
Outside of curling, I have coached and officiated hockey, ringette and softball and as Club Marshall of the Nationview Golf Club Men’s Committee, I get my share of golf in each summer.
For the past seven years I have been President of my Condominium Association and am a 27 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion- Bells Corners Branch.
Currently I enjoy family gatherings and amateur live theatre, especially, with my daughter and grand-daughter.
