Meet Don Robinson

Hi, I’m from Lacolle, Quebec.
A retired dairy farmer, I curl out of the Lacolle Curling Club where I have been Club President for the past 14 years, President of the Lacolle Senior League for 6 years and founded the local Junior League and as a Certified Coach I coached the juniors for 30 years.

An Honorary Life Member of the Canadian Branch, RCCC, I was President in 1996, VP Curling Quebec, 3 terms as VP South West District 3, Junior Chair and currently Chair the Gordon International Medal Committee.

I am a member of the Governor General’s Curling Club and have curled against the Scots during their last two tours to Canada.
A Village Councillor for 40 years and a Volunteer Firefighter for 30, I was a Boy Scout Leader and a former member of the School Board, and am an Elder and Chair of the United Church in Lacolle and President of the Lacolle Museum.


An avid square dancer, I am involved in restoring an old abandoned cemetery and enjoy collecting local folklore.
