Hi, I’m from Montreal, Quebec

A Financial Security Advisor and Chartered Life Insurance Underwriter, I curl out of the Royal Montreal Curling Club where I have served on the Board of Directors since 1983 as Chairman of House, Club Representative to the Branch-RCCC, President and Chairman-Match Committee and in 1966 I Chaired a Special Committee of the Board to investigate and report on the full integration of ladies into the Club, which was readily passed and has been highly successful.

Chairmanship of the Royal Montreal Centennial Cup Bonspiel Committee since 1999 included responsibility for the special 200th Anniversary Bonspiel which featured teams from Canada, USA and Scotland. I have served also on the Executive Planning Committees for the Bicentennial St Andrew’s Ball-2006, the Provincial Masters Curling Championship for Quebec-2006 and the Canadian Branch Colts-2007 and for the past 23 years have coordinated the long standing annual competition between Royal Montreal and Le Club de curling Jacques-Cartier from Quebec City.
I have played in the International Gordon Medal for the past 7 years and since 1979 I have been a member of the Royal Montreal Curling Club team that plays in the Annual 3-Day Competition between Royal Montreal and The Country Club from Brookline, Massachusetts, USA.
I met the Scots when they played at Royal Montreal in 2003 and I have heard nothing but great reviews from fellow members Doug Brown and Jack Martin, of their tour to Scotland in 1998.
A member of La chambre de la sécurité financière and the Canadian Ukrainian Professional Business Men’s Association of Montreal, I enjoy acting as master of ceremonies at anniversaries, weddings and church functions.
A former golfer , my favourite pastime now is visiting major and minor league baseball parks in both Canada and the USA and as a result, have been approached to join the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR)! I just might!
