Hi, I’m from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

A Transportation Specialist, I curl out of the Mayflower Curling Club in Halifax where I have served on the Board of Directors for a number of years including President.

A Past president of the Nova Scotia Mixed Curling Association and the Nova Scotia Curling Association, I served as VP-Facilities for the 2003 Nokia Brier in Halifax and was President of the 2005 Tim Horton Roar of the Rings also in Halifax and I have served on the Annual Sandra Schmirler Golf Classic committee for the past 5 years
I have had the pleasure of curling against the incoming Scot curlers during their last three tours and while President of the Nova Scotia Curling Association, our Executive approval financial support to the local organising committee in hosting the 2003 Scots Centenary Tour visit.
I am member of the Governor General’s Curling Club.
A lover of dogs, I have had one by my side for 52 years and have bred and shown a breed called Puli (Hungarian Sheep Dogs).
In addition, I love to golf and spend time at the cottage on Caribou Island.
