Meet Bob Dods

As a past member of the Pointe Claire CC Board of directors, I served on the committee-Kurling for Kids, acquired Little Rocks for the Junior Program, organised the Pat Lid events-3 years, was Master of the Cup in 2007 and am in my fourth term as Branch Representative for the Association régionale de curling de Montréal (ARCM).
Currently Secretary/Treasurer of the Canadian Branch of the Royal Caledonian Curling Club, organised the Royal Victoria Jubilee event in 2006, organised the 2007 Montreal Senior Men’s and Women’s Playdowns and won the Royal Victoria Jubilee Trophy in 2005 and the St Lawrence Trophy in 2004.

I have won two Gordon International Medals.
Also, I am Past Chairperson of the Match Committee at the Hudson Legion CC.
Past President and Board of Directors of the Beaconsfield Men’s Slo-Pitch League-7-years, co-founder-Beaconsfield Men’s Slo-Pitch Charity Tournament (over $63,000 to the West Island Charities in 4 years), fundraiser for West Island Women’s Shelter, V.O.N., Juvenile Diabetes, Children’s Wish Foundation, Shave-to-Save and the Breast cancer Fund.
Apart from curling I enjoy downhill skiing, cycling and snorkelling.
And, I am serving as the Strathcona Cup 100 Tour Webmaster!
