Active in Canadian Branch of the RCCC events, I skipped a Quebec team to the Briar in 1967, played second on the Canadian School Boys Champion team from Saskatchewan in 1956 and curled in the International Cup against teams from Seattle,USA.
Had the pleasure of playing against the Scots on a previous tour in Montreal and during their Centenary Tour in 2003 in Vancouver and I MC’d the luncheon held in their honour.
Organised curling matches for the Scots from Nairn CC on a private visit in 2007.
A Level I curling official, I have volunteered at several competitions and am an active club level golfer. I was a troop leader for the Boy Scouts for many years, have coached hockey and soccer and currently organize golf tournaments for senior curlers.
A home handyman, I enjoy woodworking, gardening, hiking, travel, kayaking, computers and investing.
